Kentec Training has joined the AoFA

Kentec Training is always looking for ways to improve our understanding and gain further knowledge in the subjects we train. As well as educating others in the different subjects we train, we encourage all our employees and instructors to continue their own education in these subjects as well. As we have recently began offering First Aid Training, we thought it was appropriate for us to explore all aspects of this training course. As a result we have joined the Association of First Aiders. The AoFA is the UK’s largest association supporting over 2,000 first aiders, first aid trainers and first aid training providers.

If you require First Aid Training, we can offer both the First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid Courses.

Emergency First Aid Courses
This is a one day course, which, prior to 2009, was the qualification taken by those designated as an 'Appointed Person for First Aid' in an organisation. It is suitable for all who wish to learn Basic First Aid and those who need a formal qualification, but the risk assessment shows that the full First Aid at Work certificate is not necessary. The course meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

First Aid at Work Courses
This three day course enables successful candidates to be designated as a First Aider at their workplace. It also gives a thorough grounding in all the major areas of First Aid. The course meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

The content for both the courses will be tailored to the needs of the workplace(s) involved but will always cover:first aid bum bag
